For House Helps / Caregivers / Domestic Workers
Get My Maids

These rules are for all house helps, caregivers, and workers placed by Get My Maids.

By joining or working through Get My Maids, you agree to follow all these rules.

 

1. Nature of Work

  1. Get My Maids only helps you find a job.
  2. You will work directly for the employer (client).
  3. Get My Maids is not your employer.
  4. All jobs must go through Get My Maids.
  5. You cannot take a job directly from a client without permission.

2. Job Duties

  1. You must do only the work agreed at the time of hiring.
  2. Work may include cleaning, cooking, elderly care, pet care, etc.
  3. Refusing work without a good reason can lead to termination.
  4. Not doing work properly may be treated as breaking the agreement.

3. Trial Period

  1. There will be a trial period (as agreed).
  2. After the trial, the job becomes confirmed.
  3. During trial, you or the employer can stop without penalty.
  4. Replacement rules will follow company policy.

4. Behavior & Discipline

You must:

  1. Be polite and respectful.
  2. Follow instructions from the employer.
  3. Be on time and maintain cleanliness.
  4. Take care of household items.

You will be removed immediately if you:

  • Use abusive language
  • Fight or behave badly
  • Threaten anyone
  • Create problems in the house
  • Use alcohol/drugs during work
  • Steal or break trust

5. Honesty & Privacy

  1. Theft or dishonesty will lead to termination and legal action.
  2. You must NOT:
    • Share family information
    • Take photos/videos without permission
    • Bring outsiders without permission
  3. Do not discuss employer’s personal matters with others.

6. Leave & Attendance

  1. Inform before taking leave.
  2. Do not take frequent leave.
  3. Give 15–20 days’ notice before leaving the job.
  4. Leaving suddenly can result in:
    • Salary loss (if allowed by law)
    • ₹5,000 fine
    • Blacklisting

7. Leaving Job Early

If a candidate has never worked before and receives training from Get My Maids, but leaves the job within 6 months without a valid reason:

  • A penalty of ₹5,000 will be charged
  • The candidate may not be given future job opportunities

8. Salary Rules

  1. Salary will be paid by the employer directly.
  2. Salary changes must be agreed by both sides.
  3. You must NOT:
    • Suddenly demand more salary
    • Borrow money from employer or neighbors
    • Ask for advance salary
  4. Salary must go to your own bank account.
  5. Get My Maids will not cut salary except penalties mentioned here.

9. Health & Cleanliness

  1. Maintain personal hygiene.
  2. Inform if you are seriously sick.
  3. Tell about any health issues affecting your work.
  4. Employer may ask for medical proof if needed.

10. Professional Behavior

  1. Keep a professional relationship with the family.
  2. Do not interfere in family matters.
  3. Do not spread gossip.
  4. False complaints can lead to legal action.

11. ID & Verification

  1. Submit valid ID proof before joining.
  2. Background check may be done.
  3. Fake documents will lead to termination and legal action.

12. Replacement Rules

  1. Get My Maids is not responsible for:
    • Theft
    • Misbehavior
    • Personal fights
  2. The company may help solve issues or provide replacement.
  3. Frequent job changes may lead to removal from system.

13. Alcohol & Tobacco Rules

Strictly not allowed:

  • Drinking alcohol
  • Keeping alcohol in the house
  • Using gutka, tobacco, cigarettes, etc.
  • Spitting anywhere
  • Using any illegal substances

You must:

  • Stay clean and professional
  • Avoid habits that cause problems

If you break this rule:

  1. Immediate removal
  2. Salary penalty (if allowed)
  3. Asked to leave house immediately
  4. Permanent blacklist
  5. Legal action if needed

14. Termination

Your job can be stopped if:

  • You misbehave
  • You break trust
  • You don’t do your work
  • You break any rule

Get My Maids can stop your service anytime for safety reasons.

15. No Direct Job Rule

  1. You cannot directly work for a client introduced by Get My Maids without permission.
  2. You cannot make private deals with that client.

If you break this rule:

  • You must pay for business loss
  • ₹100,000 fine
  • You must pay legal costs

16. Changes to Rules

Get My Maids can change these rules anytime.
If you continue working, it means you agree to new rules.
