GET MY MAIDS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

 Legal, payment, replacement, liability, and contract-related policies.

1. Nature of Services

Get My Maids connects employers with domestic workers such as house helpers, caregivers, home nurses, hostel wardens, drivers, and support staff.

  • Get My Maids is not the employer after placement.
  • The employment relationship is directly between the Employer and the Worker.
  • Get My Maids is not responsible for salary payments, day-to-day supervision, or job-related disputes after placement.

2. Registration Fee

A non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000 must be paid at the time of booking.

This fee covers:

  • Candidate sourcing
  • Interview arrangements
  • Documentation
  • Candidate travel/drop service

This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

3. Trial Period

  • The trial period is 1 month.
  • A maximum of 2 trial candidates will be provided.
  • Both Employer and Worker must provide feedback after the trial.

If the trial is successful:

  • The Professional Fee becomes payable.

If either party stops during the trial:

  • Registration fee will not be refunded.
  • Professional fee will not be charged.

4. Professional Fee

After successful completion of the trial period:

Employer must pay:

One Month Salary + 18% GST

  • This fee is non-negotiable.
  • It cannot be deducted from the worker’s salary.
  • Payment must be completed within 30 days after the trial period.

Failure to pay:

  • Service support will be stopped.
  • Replacement services will not be provided.

5. Salary & Employment Terms

  • Salary must be paid directly to the worker.
  • Salary is separate from service charges.
  • Salary must be paid on time every month.

Employers cannot:

  • Reduce salary
  • Increase duties
  • without informing Get My Maids.

6. Validity & Replacement Policy

  • Service validity is 6 months from the joining date.
  • Up to 3 free replacements will be provided during this period.
  • Trial candidates are not counted as replacements.
  • Salary may vary depending on candidate experience and skills.

7. Monthly Leave Policy

  • Workers are entitled to a minimum of 2 leave days per month.

If Monthly leave is not given:

  • Employers must pay ₹1,000 per day.

If a worker completes 12 continuous months without leave:

  • Employers must provide 1 extra month’s salary as a bonus.

Long Leave Policy

If a worker takes a long break and later wishes to return:

  • Get My Maids does not guarantee rejoining with the same employer.
  • A permanent replacement may be provided instead.

8. Emergency Leave

Workers may take emergency leave in cases of:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Family death
  • Serious personal emergencies

Replacement arrangements may take up to 10 working days.

9. Advance Payments

Any salary advance or personal loan given to a worker is solely the Employer’s responsibility.

Get My Maids is not responsible for recovery of such payments.

10. Verification & Liability

  • Aadhaar and photographs are shared only for identification purposes.
  • Police verification can be arranged upon request.

Get My Maids is not responsible for:

  • Theft
  • Misconduct
  • Worker behavior
  • Personal disputes
  • Mistakes in work after joining

Employers are advised to keep valuables secure.

11. Breakages & Damages

  • Small accidental damages during work shall not result in salary deductions.
  • In case of intentional damage, both parties should mutually discuss and resolve the matter.

12. Pet Injury Responsibility

If a pet injures or bites the worker:

  • Employers shall bear all medical expenses.

13. Termination Policy

Either party may terminate employment with 15 days’ prior notice.

Immediate termination may occur in cases of:

  • Theft
  • Violence
  • Serious misconduct

14. Direct Hiring Restriction

Employers must not directly hire candidates introduced by Get My Maids without authorization.

If direct hiring occurs:

  • Pending professional fees must be paid.
  • Employer shall pay a penalty of ₹1,00,000.
  • Legal expenses may also be charged if required.

15. Limitation of Liability

Get My Maids’ liability is limited to the service fee paid.

The company shall not be responsible for:

  • Theft
  • Injuries
  • Salary disputes
  • Personal conflicts
  • Worker conduct after placement

16. Indemnity

The Employer agrees that Get My Maids shall not be held responsible for legal disputes or employment-related conflicts between the Employer and Worker.

17. Force Majeure

Get My Maids shall not be responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics
  • Strikes
  • Emergencies

18. Jurisdiction

All legal matters shall fall under the jurisdiction of Bangalore, Karnataka courts only.

19. Final Agreement

By using the services of Get My Maids:

  • Employer agrees to all Terms & Conditions.
  • Violation of policies may result in:
    • Service termination
    • Denial of future services
