Get My Maids

These Terms and Conditions govern the engagement of house helps, domestic workers, caregivers, attendants, and related personnel associated with Get My Maids.

By registering with, accepting placement through, or continuing work under Get My Maids, the House Help agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions. 

1 Nature of Engagement

  • Get My Maids connects house helps with clients as a service and placement provider.
  • The employment relationship is directly between the house help and the client, unless stated otherwise in writing.
  • These terms apply to all house helps placed through Get My Maids.

2 Trial Period

  •  A trial period will be applicable as agreed between the client and the house help at the time of placement.      
  • Upon successful completion of the trial period,the placement shall be considered confirmed. 
  • Through discussion, mediation, or reassignment, wherever reasonably possible.

3 Leaving the Workplace without Notice

  •  If a house help leaves the workplace or discontinues duties without prior notice or approval, it shall be treated as a serious breach of these Terms. 
  •  In such cases, the Service Provider shall impose a penalty of ₹5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) on the house help
  • This penalty may be recovered through pending dues, or future payments, as legally permissible.

4 Early Termination within Six Months

  • If a fresher house help, after completing training and the trial period, leaves the job within six (6) months without a valid documented reason, a penalty of ₹4,000 (Rupees Four Thousand Only) will apply.

5 Notice Period

  •  All house helps must give a minimum 15–20 days’ written or verbal notice before leaving the job.
  •  Failure to do so may result in salary deductions, penalties, and disqualification from future placements through Get My Maids, unless the notice is waived by the Service Provider in exceptional cases.

6 Code of Conduct

  • House helps must maintain professionalism, honesty, discipline, and integrity at all times. They are expected to be punctual, hygienic, respectful, and responsible with household property.
  •  Any misconduct—such as theft, substance abuse during duty hours, verbal or physical abuse, or breach of trust—will lead to immediate termination, permanent blacklisting, and legal action by Get My Maids. 

7 Replacement & Reassignment

  •  If a house help wishes to discontinue work for a valid reason, they may request reassignment through Get My Maids, subject to verification and availability. Frequent or unjustified job discontinuation may result in suspension or permanent removal from the placement database.

8 ID Proof & Verification

  •  All house helps must submit valid government ID, address proof, and required documents before joining. Background verification may be conducted. Any false information or documents will result in immediate termination and possible legal action. 

9 Wages & Payment Terms

  •  Monthly wages shall be paid directly by the employer/client as agreed at the time of placement.
  •  Get My Maids does not deduct any salary, except for penalties or charges specifically mentioned in these Terms.
  •  All workers must receive their salary only in their own personal bank account.

10 Confidentiality

  • House helps must strictly maintain confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal matters, finances, household activities, and property. Any disclosure to third parties may lead to termination and legal action. 

11 Health & Safety

  •  House helps must inform the Service Provider of any medical condition affecting work performance, failing which termination and legal action may follow. 

12 Termination Rights

  •  Get My Maids reserves the right to terminate or suspend any house help for violating these Terms without prior notice. Any decision made in the interest of safety, legality, or service integrity will be final. 

13 Direct Employment Policy

  • Direct hiring of candidates by bypassing Get My Maids is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. All engagements must be made through authorized procedures to ensure compliance and protection of workers’ rights.  

14 Amendments

  •  Get My Maids may update these Terms at any time. Continued association after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms. 

15 Acceptance

  • By registering, accepting placement, or continuing work with Get My Maids, the house help confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
