                                     Terms  and Conditions for Get My Maids House Help Services    

Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs 2000 is required to initiate the process. This fee covers administrative costs associated with processing your registration. The registration fee must be paid in full during the candidate’s Placement.

Trail: Getmymaids provides a one-month trial before continuing the services. At the end of this trial, feedback from both sides is required. The client and the assigned candidate are essential for the continuation of services. (Maximum 2 candidates for trials)

Professional fee:

  • Getmymaids assigns positions equally for all roles, such as housemaid and caregiver. Upon successful placement, a one-time payment equal to the candidate’s one-month salary + 18% GST is due. This non-negotiable fee must be paid without deductions from the candidate’s salary, ensuring fairness in our services.
  • We kindly request payment within the trial period. If payment is not received and delayed beyond 30 days, we regret to inform you that services will be terminated immediately. We value your understanding and encourage timely payments to avoid any interruptions to the services provided.

Validity: The services provided by Getmymaids are valid for 6 months from the date of joining. Within this period, employers are eligible to avail of Candidate’s replacement. Replacement requests must be made by following the specified procedures.

House Helpers Choice: House helpers assigned by Getmymaids can choose the duration of their employment—days, months, or years. Getmymaids will not insist or force them to continue working. Helpers can decide their tenure, ensuring their autonomy and comfort in their employment choices.

Job Description:  The employer has to Clearly define the services to be done in the house including cleaning, cooking, eldercare, pet care, gardening, housekeeping, personal assistance, etc. House helpers are expected to fulfill duties such as committed during the time of registration.

Rest Time:

  • To guarantee house help well-being and happiness, they must receive at least 11-10 hours of uninterrupted rest. Every 24 hours. This essential downtime ensures they remain refreshed and can provide the best care and service, maintaining their health and enthusiasm for their important work in your home. (This 11-10 hours of Rest time includes daytime after lunch and the night sleep)
  • The employer should provide the house helper with a 2-hour rest period in the afternoon. This rest period is intended to promote the well-being and productivity of the staff and may result in disciplinary action.

Monthly Leave:

  • To support housemaids, especially those living with employers, we ensure two days of leave monthly to prevent isolation and promote well-being. This policy fosters a healthy work-life balance and community connections, valuing house helpers’ happiness and acknowledging the importance of personal time and social engagement.
  • In case the employer cannot provide two days of monthly leave to the house helper, they must compensate with extra pay for those days. This ensures fair treatment and adherence to agreed-upon terms for leave.

Agreed Task: The client should not torture or harm the maid, mentally or physically, and cannot increase work or reduce salary beyond the registration form filled out. If the maid leaves due to such reasons, Getmymaids will not replace the maid or refund the Professional charges paid by the client.

Replacement:

  • Getmymaids provides a complimentary replacement service, offering 3 free replacements within 6 months, commencing after the trial period. Employers are eligible to request replacements free of cost during this timeframe.
  • Clients who engage with Getmymaids agree to these terms and conditions. This transparent fee structure is crucial for maintaining the quality and fairness of our placement services, ensuring that every candidate and client receives the best possible experience. By adhering to these guidelines, we uphold the integrity and reliability of our service.
  • In case of a replacement, the candidate’s salary may vary based on experience. Getmymaids is not responsible for ensuring the same salary as the previous candidate. Salary adjustments will be based on the new candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Important Note:

  • Using abusive language such as calling them “servant” or “villager” or “talking about Family Background “etc. If this occurs, Getmymaids will not provide a replacement for the employer. Respectful communication is essential for maintaining a harmonious working relationship with the house helper.
  • Our house helpers are not obligated to perform tasks not specified during registration, including but not limited to gardening, heavy lifting, or any hazardous activities. If employers insist on such tasks, GETMYMAIDS will not provide a replacement.

Emergency Replacement:

  • In an emergency, such as a medical situation or a death in the house helper family, the employer is required to manage without the housemaid for a few days. Getmymaids will strive to provide a replacement as quickly as possible.
  • However, please note that it may take up to one week to arrange a suitable replacement. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these unforeseen circumstances. The temporary absence of the house helper is unavoidable, and we will do our utmost to ensure minimal disruption to your household during this period.

Advance Payment: Getmymaids is not responsible for refunds of any payments or advances made by the employer to the candidate. Once payments are made, they are considered non-refundable and outside GETMYMAIDS responsibility.

Vigilance: Getmymaids collects and shares Aadhar and photographs of candidates with employers for safety. Monitoring post-employment is impracticable. Employers should inspect candidates’ baggage upon joining and leaving. Getmymaids offers police verification on request but is not liable for theft or service errors; employers must secure belongings and exercise caution.

Breakages and Damages
If the house help accidentally breaks or damages any item in the household while providing services, no deduction will be made from their salary. House help services involve handling household items, and we acknowledge that accidental damages may occur. The client is advised to notify the agency if any item is damaged during the work for documentation and appropriate follow-up.

Refund Policies:  All services by Getmymaids are non-refundable. Once completed, no refunds are processed. Clients should review service details and address queries beforehand. Our dedicated team strives to meet and exceed expectations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our refund policy.

Termination: We prioritize job security and a respectful, stable work environment. Termination without notice contradicts our fair employment principles. We promote open dialogue to address concerns, ensuring employees feel valued and secure. Your dedication is vital to our success, and we commit to upholding standards that recognize your contributions and provide security.

Health and Safety Concerns: We prioritize our house helper’s health, ensuring prompt responses to any concerns with necessary medication and rest. Your safety is paramount, supported by established health protocols and open communication. We foster a caring environment, tailoring support to individual needs, and ensuring house helper feel secure and supported in maintaining their health.

Directly Employments: Directly engaging with candidates bypassing Getmymaids may lead to legal action. Service providers ensure fair, transparent recruitment, legal compliance, and rights protection. Bypassing them can result in breach of contract or employment law violations. Adhere to procedures and use trusted providers for a lawful, equitable recruitment process.

Legal Protections: We prioritize your well-being with a safe, respectful work environment. Committed to robust legal protections against harassment, discrimination, and unsafe conditions, we adhere to all laws. We take concerns seriously and encourage open communication. We foster an inclusive workplace, ensuring dignity and legal safeguards against misconduct or unsafe conditions.

Jurisdiction: In case of legal issue arises, we will present in Bangalore court.

Confidentiality of Financial Matters: Employers are strictly prohibited from discussing the charges paid to GETMYMAIDS and the salary paid to the house helpers. the employer should not keep repeating to the house helper that the employer is paying the salary for the work he/she is doing.

Heavy Lifting: Moving heavy furniture or lifting heavy objects can be physically demanding and may lead to injuries.

Outdoor Work: Yard work or garden maintenance can be outside the scope of indoor domestic duties and may require different skills and tools.

Childcare: Full-time babysitting or childcare duties might not be included in the Getmymaids job description.

Deep Cleaning: Tasks like cleaning ovens, scrubbing floors, or other intensive cleaning might be too demanding if required frequently.

Cleaning High or Inaccessible Areas: Cleaning ceiling fans, windows, or other high places might be uncomfortable or unsafe without proper equipment.

Automobile Wash: The washing of cars/bikes is an outside job responsibility for the housemaids.

Washing of clothes: The housemaid will not perform general hand-washing of clothes. Only selected items, such as white clothes, may be washed by hand as needed.

Body Massage: The housemaid will not perform body massages or apply oil to any part of the body, as these tasks are not included in our job responsibilities. (only Elderly care Positions are applicable)

Work Location: The housemaid will be employed exclusively to work in a single household as designated upon joining. The helper cannot be shared or assigned to work in multiple households or for other employers. Any attempt to utilize the housemaids as a shared resource among numerous households will result in immediate termination of services.
